Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. She has won twelve WTA singles titles, including an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. In doubles, she is also an outstanding player. She has won two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens: her US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. Together with her fellow Belgian tennis star, she also took home the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in the year 2019, making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Four couples only managed to achieve this feat in women's doubles. On the 23rd August of 2021, she rose to second position in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel her way to the top during February of that same year following her victory in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player born in Belarus to make it in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and 2019, and also in the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann and her were in a brief relationship between August and September of 2020. She has been trained by her native hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, followed by Maria Sharapova.
